Stop reading reviews and buy them NOW!!! 🤩 Using these on a 10 gallon tank and they’re perfect!! Definitely recommend these.Edit to add for those saying they’re difficult to get on and off. If you take the flat top part and position it inside the top of your lid, then push down a bit on the outer bend of the clip it snaps on. To remove push in on the outer side of the clip and then lift the flat top portion up and then out/off.

Tricky Tricky was stopped. I’ve got a beautiful ball python named Autumn. She is a loving, gentle, curious little snake. Sometimes her curiosity gets her out of her tank at night leaving mom (me) to go looking for her frantically. These lovely locks put an end to the midnight escapades! They are to small for my tank all be it, buy they work just the same! Very helpful.

I had really good luck with the clips made for the 40 gallon … I had really good luck with the clips made for the 40 gallon size. I was hoping that these would be considerably smaller. They weren’t. For tanks smaller than 29 gallons you have to compress the steel together. This mis-shapes the metal and makes it stick out from the side about an inch, inch and a half. This isn’t an issue for tanks that are singular or in broad face row. But if you have multiple tanks side by side this leaves a 3″ gap in-between the tanks.
