Great litter box for the price The CatIt hooded litter box is a great litter box for the price. The plastic is fairly durable. The hood provides privacy for cats and helps keep litter â and odors â in the box. The litter box comes with a replaceable carbon filter to additionally help control odors. GOOD design, AWFUL, flimsy materials I love the design of this litter box! Love the option of taking the door off while leaving every other “protective” feature intact. LOVE being able to just flip the top half of the “roof” off to clean inside! Love that there’s a little ledge on the bottom that my cat puts all four of his feet on when he makes a poopy and it seems to me this is much more sanitary than were it not there. Great litter box Great litter box. We have two female cats, both around 6-7lbs, and they have a ton of room inside. I’ve never smelled any urine when I’m near the box but it does get cleaned at least every other day. The door and ledge help cut back on litter that gets tracked outside of the box. There is still some litter but it’s less than half the mess than what our open litter box makes from the cats.I noticed in some of the reviews people complain about the locks.
