Works Pretty Good… Works great! Fits width-wise over my standard 20 gallon tank, without a problem. However, I only needed half of this screen to cover a small portion of the tank. It is not long enough to fit length-wise on my standard 20 gallon tank. My tank is 12.5 inches wide and 30 inches long. Each half of the screen is 12 inches long and 13 inches wide. Thus, if your tank is more than 13 inches wide and 24 inches long, you may have some difficulty making this fit.

Excellent cover for aquarium. Very kid friendly Excellent fit on our 29 gallon aquarium. Well made, folds well. Very pleased as we cover our aquarium and turn it into an escape proof hamster habitat. With the folding halves, it makes it much easier for the kids to access their hamster. The trick is to have them remember to close it when they put the hamster back in….

Not good for small animals I bought this for a gecko set up, but the gaps in the center of the lid (where the hinges mount) are far too wide my geckos and there feeder insects can escape.
