I would highly recommend this cover This screen was exactly what we were looking for when we converted a 55 gal. aquarium into a bearded dragon habitat. Our aquarium had a plastic cross piece in the middle. It had already broke on one side, so I just cut the other end and removed it. Doesn’t fit a 55 gallon aquarium that has a center support bar Great price… however… it does not work with a 55 gallon aquarium as it advertises. The aquarium is made with a center support bar that is in the same place as the hinge on this screen. If this had been designed better and made specifically for the larger/longer tanks they would have left out the 2 overhanging bars where the hinge is, but as a cheap route the manufacturer has taken 2 pre-made smaller screens and attached a cheap hinge between them. Awesome product! I got this for my fish tank I converted into my breaded dragon habitat. It fit perfectly! I was happy to find this size I couldn’t find it anywhere ! I love that you can open either end and not have to take the while lid off. It makes it really nice and not such a hassel. It holds up well too. Doesn’t melt under the light and didn’t bend when my 15lb cat sat on it. Overall love this!
