Dangerous, All brands are not the same The wire inside became an immediate danger to my bird within three days of installing. There are other products out there that allow flexibility without the thick wire. DO NOT BUY! My last one was JW Comfy Perch and there weren’t any wires, and it lasted for 9 months I will reorder their product, this is a knock-off rip off.

Perches are thinner than pictured. The pictures of the birds on the perches are misleading. The perches are shown as thicker than they are in reality. I know this because I have a Greenwing Macaw which is bigger than the Blue and Gold as pictured in the example picture. Maybe an inch thick. If you know that then you will order or not with that information.

Great alternative to natural perches I buy these pretty regularly. I currently have an OWA and a GCC and this provides a soft alternative to natural wood perches. Set up is easy and they secure well to the cage. My only criticism would be that once my bird chews the rope and the wire is exposed, there is no protective coating around the metal. I’m not sure what would be suitable/safe but that might be something to look into.
