Importantly, as recommended for cats by veterinarians the eating surface is above or level with the stomach. This prevents vomiting caused from a throat muscle that triggers a re-flux action in many cats.

Good quality, Performs as Described We bought two of these bowls earlier this month (May 2018) and I have not been disappointed! My cats transitioned to it very quickly with no fuss. The curve of the bowl keeps the food in the bowl instead of on my floor. With our old bowls (straight sides, flat on the floor) the cats struggled to get all of the food out and would end up pushing it out creating a mess and luring ants. I am happy with the height of these bowls as well (this looks like one of the tallest bowls available currently)…

Happy Cat And Happy Me This bowl has made a significant difference for my 18 year old cat with advanced kidney disease. Eating at a higher height has resulted in him eating more, vomiting less, and using a stance that is much easier on his little arthritic back. Another reviewer mentioned not liking the hole at the bottom underneath. For me, I love it. The bowl is heavy for a feeder bowl and a little unwieldy when cleaning it. Iâm able to put my index finger inside for stabilization when washing it out at the sink…
