Very Nice Cage, Especially for Parrots SLIGHTLY Smaller Than Macaws This bird cage is fantastic. The bar spacing is a little larger than I would have preferred for Lucille, my rose breasted cockatoo (galah cockatoo), but it is still small enough to be safe and the size is wonderful for such a (relatively) small parrot. RB2s are around 250-380 grams in weight and about 14 inches in length, much smaller than a macaw or a large cockatoo, therefore this cage provides more than ample room. quality is lacking Really not happy after several months of use with this cage. It really is cheaply made. The bars flex too easily and a macaw can very quickly bend them. The cage is cleaned every single day, yet is peeling already and I found small rust. My other cage that I have had for many years is much better quality and still no rust, just some peel spots that I touch up. There are pieces coming apart already on the seed guards and it truly isn’t sturdy enough for a macaw. Maybe ok for an African Grey or…
Very big cage, but comes up short on quality I purchased this cage for my blue and gold macaw. The cage was delivered in two separate boxes (unbeknownst to me it was sent in two boxes and Amazon only provided the tracking info on their site for one box; Major ordeal). The directions were easy to follow but the cage was severely bent and we had to physically bend several bars/pieces back into shape.
