Each clip firmly secures a corner of the screen cover to the terrarium rim without the use of extra hardware or complex installation. Simply slip the top of the clip into the top molding of the screen cover, then snap the clip’s bottom between the glass and the terrarium frame. Press down and pull out to free the clip and open the lid.

Clips work, but not attractive I thought I would post a photo to show how the clips are installed because it would’ve helped me save some time if I had seen a photo. I’m using four of these to hold down a homemade screen to a 125 gallon tank (for turtles). Pros: They work to keep the screen in place, one-piece all metal construction, and inexpensive. Easier than you think… Anyone in the reptile/exotic hobby knows that one pair of clamps is NOT enough to secure a screen top. You will need at least two 2-packs of these. Installation is easy if you know where to place your leverage: directly on the right angle at the top of the clip as you slide the catch under the screen border. Usually Flimsy and Ineffective These don’t work on some tank designs. On one of my tanks they hold fairly tight, but on 3 other tanks they are practically useless. I would recommend purchasing the small size even if you have a large tank, because the large size are just too loose and don’t lock the lid down firmly. These are flexible so the smaller sizes should be able to fit on most tanks.Still, 9/10 times these do not work well at all.
