Finally shelled out the money and it was worth it I have two humongous Golden Doodles, one with a poodle-like coat and the other with a more wiry coat. I keep them clipped year-round and I’ve gone through Wahl’s and Osters at ridiculous rates. They never lasted longer than a year, they had a difficult time getting through one dog without overheating or the clippers themselves just stop cutting. Good but heavy, switched it for something else… I am a pet owner who grooms my small maltese-mix dog at home every 6-8 weeks. My first pair of clippers were the cordless/corded Wahl “Pro-series”, I got those for a great price of $50 on amazon when i wasn’t sure if I would really get into doing my own clipping.
