Wrong bulbs sent twice. I bought two of these lamps. Got the second because my daughter dropped the first and it quit working properly, but after it arrived the first began working again. However after having these in my bearded dragon’s cage for a long time, I just went to change the bulbs and realized that each time I ordered desert but received tropical! These are two different prices. I am REALLY annoyed that on both occasions I did not get what I actually paid for, and dismayed that my dragon might have had…

Worked for a long time but part of the clear plastic cover melted. Lasted for about a year before something odd happened with the bulb. One side of it got very hot, and I came home to the smell of melting plastic. On one end of the clear plastic part, where the bulb meets the metal, the clear plastic had expanded outward and was opaque with bubbles and the bulb was off, and wouldn’t turn back on again. I I use several reptile lighting elements all at the correct voltage and this is the first time this has happened to me. I kept it on for about 10 hours per day…
