The Exo Terra Light Bracket is designed to suspend the Exo Terra Light Dome or wire fixtures above any Exo Terra Natural Terrarium or other glass terrarium securely. The Exo Terra Light Bracket easily adjusts to fit most types of fixtures or can be used to regulate heat/light according to required terrarium conditions by moving the rubber washers. Since the bulbs do not need to be moved after installation-together with increased ventilation-the light bulbs’ (basking lamps, Solar Glo, etc.) life span is drastically improved.
INSTALL LIGHT AFTER 24 HOURS TO ALLOW THE TAPE BOND TO CURE PROPERLY
NOTE : FAILURE OF PROPER TAPE BONDING MAY BE ATTRIBUTED TO ONE OF FOUR ISSUES:
Poor surface preparation and/or application. Poor adhesive contact: exposed adhesive side of tape being touched or contaminated. Insufficient pressure being applied. Lamp hung too soon, tape not fully cured.

DANGER DANGER DANGER DO NOT BUY!!!!! THIS ALMOST CAUSED A HOUSE FIRE!!!! I placed this on a new terrarium that I cleaned per instructions. It seemed initially to hold like concrete, very solid. However about a week later our smoke detectors were going crazy. The adhesive had come undone and the whole unit fell and landed on some nearby clothes (actually about 4 feet down and 2 feet over from where item was fixed) and was in the early stages of catching fire when my wife found it thanks to the smoke alarms. We’re out for the stand & 2 expensive light bulbs & if we had not been home the poor turtle would have been electrocuted with NO VERY, VERY dangerous!!! Cleaned tank thoroughly & after a month it fell INTO THE TANK. I was sitting right beside the tank & IMMEDEATLY unplugged it. Both bulbs were broken & what did Exo Terra tell me? WE don’t guarantee any of our products. We can send you more adhesive. I said, Do you REALLY think I’m putting that piece of s*** back up & electrocute our turtle??? Nicely built and adjustable This unit looks pretty nice and is fairly well built and holds a dual dome just fine. I like the adjust-ability of the unit as well both for height, depth and the ‘stops’ that are included. The only down-side, that is fairly significant, is the attachment point. The tape that holds the mounting point to the tank gave out after a couple of weeks. This was without ever touching the lamps or mount. The lights are on a timer, etc. I did clean the glass prior to installation. I have since replaced…
