My reptiles and fish love’em. I initially bought these crickets to feed my bearded dragon lizard when my local pet store was out of live crickets. However, after two yearly vet check-ups revealed that my dragon had pinworms, I decided to use dried crickets as his main source of protein. I asked the vet his opinion on the dried crickets, who said that they were fine “as long as he ate them.” I spray them with water so that the lizard gets moisture, as like many bearded dragons, he doesn’t know what to do with standing…
My lizard gave me the stink eye My fussy eater Beardies turns his nose up at these. He gives me the lizard look If offer these. In his book itâs not a tasty treat but some kind of offense. The quality seems ok, lots of broken bits. These crickets are to large for a baby or juvenile and need breaking up to meet the space between eyes rule on size for feeding. I must continue my search for something acceptable to him in case of live food being unavailable emergencies.
Not sure if they are delicious enough to recommend.. Not sure how to review freeze dried crickets. The container is the size of a spice jar and it is filled to the top. The crickets are still whole for the most part. Not sure if they are delicious enough to recommend . . . I am not that brave.The seller shipped immediately and I received the item on time and in perfect condition.
