I have 20 – maybe 30? Something like that. Just about every one of my tanks has one of these. I breed geckos so we’re talking easily +/- 20 tanks. I’ve never had an issue and will keep buying them as long as I have tanks that need them. The dimmer is awesome and you can turn the lamp off at the dimmer. I can set the lamp really low in the summer when it’s hot and turn it up high in the winter when it’s cold. The dimmer won’t work with a MVB bulb because the mercury vapor style is non-dimmable. I don’t know if the MVB would work…
This lamp is perfect for my hedgie This lamp is perfect for my hedgie! I chose this one over the Zoo Med because of its dimming feature. This allows me to adjust the temperature on hotter or colder to days to maintain the ideal temperature for my hedgehog. I would buy this again in a heartbeat.
Super for ball python tank setup Awesome, I didn’t have to spend extra money on a separate dimmer. I use this on my ball python’s 10 gallon tank with a ceramic heat emitter instead of a light. The only thing that could be better would be if there was a line on the dial to show how high it was so that adjustments could be more easily tracked.
