I will be finding out which flea and tick control brand they recommend. Use at your own risk I have been using Frontline Plus religiously for many years for my two border collies. Recently, one of them was exhibiting some unusual signs that prompted a visit to the vet where bloodworm was done and confirmed that she had Lyme disease (and a high level in her bloodstream). The vet told me that there have been several cases at their practice where Frontline has failed to protect dogs from ticks and Lyme disease. Currently, my dog is on her 30 day antibiotics, and when I go back for follow…

tl;dr Great if it doesn’t bother your dog. Only buy product sold *directly by Amazon* This does an admirable job keeping various sorts of blood sucking disease causers off of dogs. Amazon’s pricing make it a legit deal. I stopped using it ultimately because my dog went crazy, dragging himself across the rug every time I applied it. Other users have reported the same issue with their dogs. It didn’t appear to hurt him or damage his skin or fur, but getting him to stay still to get the Frontline on and his reaction to it are a problem to me, so I have opted for an oral flea/tick…

Kills Fleas and Ticks Fast I use Frontline on my dog year-round because of the weather where I live. Any time I’ve found ticks on him, they were dead or dying.I’m allergic to fleas and it seems like I’m a magnet for flea bites, but fleas die pretty fast if they’ve touched my dog.
