Great bridge for Rats! We purchased 2 of these to make bridges for our rats instead of using the ramps with the cage. I wanted them to get more exercise, and we accomplished this!The product is solidly made, easily cleaned in warm water and mild detergent, and the connects are solid and a complete screwed connection. the rope is strong and each section has a large knot which deters chewing.
NOT the same one – read this If you’re here looking to replace one you bought a while back, this one (#62806) is NOT the same anymore. The old ones have 2 knots in between, but the new versions only have ONE knot.These newer versions are WAAAAY shorter than the original (probably to save $$) Notice the double-knots on the original, versus the single knot design. The new one I was sent will not fit across the cage. Very bummed out.And contrary to the reviewer right before me, they do *not* stretch…
Works well for a cockatiel or larger It took a week or two to find the right place in the cage for this but once I did I wouldn’t dream of moving it. He stands on his little bridge and waits for me to open the door in the morning. It works really well but I would suggest attaching it to the same height bar in both sides so it stays relatively level.
