Our cockatiels really like this new toy! During mating season, I like to give my birds an additional amount of calcium to their diet. We feed our cockatiels and green cheek conures both pellets and seeds but, what better way to give them that extra nutrition than with a fun toy they can play with! My cockatiels especially like this Cal Sea Yums Dollar toy, they like chewing on the rope and the shells. They even sleep cuddled up next to this toy. Very happy that my birds really like their new toy. It is quality made and bird…
Quaker parrot approved My Quaker loves this toy. He not only preens it, he also sleeps in this ring during the day. He eventually breaks off one or two of the shells, but they are always the last pieces hanging in the ring when I take the ring out of his cage. He just doesn’t want to do the work to break them off. When it’s brand new, the center is the perfect size for him to snuggle up in. These rings last time a long time – 6+ months – as he is not a very destructive bird.
