Good but YOU need to buy lots of ladders for it Lovely and the perfect size for a solo parakeet! Too small for two! Lots of space to add toys and ladders to explore and climb. However be aware that if your little birds feathers are cut he will be unable to climb up without lots of ladders. The bars are too far apart for climbing. I threw out the two foot holds that came with the cage because they we dull and of poor quality- although i did ise that for training to help him get comfortable with be held and climbing up.
Seems to be just right. Got this for a yellow parakeet that showed up on my door step one day. Bird seems to like it and it comes with the 2 feeders. I’ve added a water dish and also have a bird bath attachment that fits just fine. It could be to small if you have 2 birds. Not a bird person normally, but became one by default.
Worked great for my costume It was lightweight, the top is fairly easily removable but stays secure when carrying it from the top handle. I used it for a costume; no real birds ever went inside the charming abode. It would be better if the top was even easier to detach and re-attach, like how storage bins use those clip handles, but I canât deny how sturdy that part was when attached. I did secure the bottom portion, since Iâm sure it wasnât made to be carried around on a back at a crowded convention for 3 days or danced…
