My Senegal’s favorite toy by far! My Senegal parrot loves this toy so much that she has two! One hanging on her play stand, I’ll hide food in the hanging toys or take it down, lay it on the kitchen counter, and sprinkle seed on it so she can forage for the seed in between the mat. I hung the second one up by all four corners inside her cage so it is like a hammock. That’s her favorite spot in her cage and it is where she sleeps. I can stick stalks of celery or carrot sticks through the holes for her to find too. I would…
My Timneh African Greyloves this thing! Wow. My Timneh African Grey, a great destroyer of things, has spent many hours tearing this mat up. She has cut it into little pieces with surgical precision and enjoyed it so much. She has cut the mat where the rings attach it to the cage several times, but not a problem – I just rehang the mat on another loop and let her have at it again. As other reviewers have mentioned, the little cups are perfect places to hide treats so she can go find them and dig them out. She has to work at it…
Good quality and looks nice The birds have picked on the toys but have not tried climbing on it yet. Not sure if they will use it or not, but it looks good in the cage and it’s large, thick, and good quality. it’s a good buy. Plus once they tear up the toys it will be easy to add new ones onto this mat. We have 2 Cockatiels.
