Works well… I bought the lid for my snake’s 55 gal tank. It fits with a little room to spare which is nice bc I have a waterfall in his tank and the cord has room without being crimped. It came in a little bent on the middle hinge, but nothing too bad. I put it on the tank as is and it’s fine.
Really happy with this product, works as desired! I’ve had this product for nearly a month now and am finally getting around to reviewing. It fit my 55 gallon aquarium perfectly, I have axolotls so I’ve got my arm in to my elbow a couple times a day and being able to open it halfway lengthwise is a HUGELY awesome feature! it works great, is sturdy enough for my needs (I keep no equipment on top of the cover) The only feature I feel this is missing a ‘knock out’ so you can run air tubing/power cords through if desired. I have not yet modified…
Sturdy enough for everyday use I was hesitant to purchase due to other reviews mentioning damage during shipping and flimsy materials. We didn’t have much choice however; we needed a screen top that opens easily, so we took a chance. We haven’t been disappointed. It arrived in good condition, and while it does sag just a bit with three lights resting on top of it, it’s held up so far, and we’ve had it for about a month.It fits just right.
