Worth the price, HANDLE WITH CARE These bulbs are a good price for what you get. A lot of people complain that they burn out quickly or are even received already broken, and it’s easy to see why. These bulbs are cheap for a reason. The wire inside is a cheaper material, thus it can’t take much shaking, moving, or abuse.I first bought these about 5 months ago, and just used the last of my 3-pack a couple days ago. Now, it’s hard to estimate from that exactly how long these bulbs really last because 1.) I have two…
Burnt and shattered 1 died in the first week. 1 shattered in a month and I had to pick glass out of my tank. the other one lasted two months. When they work they are very good but like all of the brands of turtle lights I have ever bought they just don’t last. If anyone has found a brand that actually last please feel free to drop me a line and let me know.
Buy 1 at a time or go to a local store. Bulbs are standard, been using Zilla bulbs for an array of reptiles for many years.. However when ordering as a 3-pack If you receive a smashed bulb (packing fragile things is hard) you will have to return all 3 bulbs in order to get anywhere. You may think you are saving money but realistically with the rate of damage/ineffective bulbs and this absolutely silly process of receiving/returning all the bulbs if there *are* problems. Save yourself a headache and support your local business.
