Great Bulb, every bit as strong as it says. But here is a hint to make it last longer. Awesome product. For those who had it burn out after a day or two, when you first turn it on, it may have some erratic lighting effects in tube. after a few seconds, turn it off and back on and it should work fine. Leaving it on with the erratic charge up will kill the Element in it due to uneven heating. on its first use turn it on for about 20 seconds then off for a minute, then its should restart normally and last a long time. This Bulb is extremely bright and very strong. I sat close by it…

Beware… May not work! I wish zero stars was an option. I bought this as a backup/replacement for the bulb in my terrarium lamp. The old bulb finally burned out, so I went to put this one in today.Nada. As I rotate it, it flickers as if the ballast might be the problem, but once it is locked in it does NOTHING. Thinking my lamp might be the problem, I bought a cheap regular T8 bulb (but not full spectrum 🙁 ) at the hardware store to test. Nope, nothing wrong with the lamp… 15 watts, T8…
