The only UVB bulb brand i use Reptisun by Zoo Med is the only UVB and lighting brand I use with my reptiles. The UVB lights are high quality and trust worthy, which is ESSENTIAL for reptiles. I bought a UVB tester to test some lights someone gave me, and all of them barely registered on the low end (even the supposed 10.0 lights). All of my Reptisun lights immediately tested in the correct UVB level range. Don’t trust your reptiles good health to a cheap light, buy high quality.
A Need For All Bearded Dragons Perfect for my Bearded Dragon. My bearded dragons previous owners didn’t realize apparently that they need a uvb/uva ligt bulb. So she has been without it for a couple of months. She as shown signs of MBD. When I got her I bought this immediately for her she is now a happier bearded dragon so far. Started smoking one day Started smoking one day. I use this for my turtle tank in a Zoomed lamp. It lasted a long time and would have been perfect if not for the little incident. One day I smelled a nasty smell like burning plastic but I couldn’t figure out where it was coming from until I checked my aquarium room.
