Affordable, sturdy, flexible and functional stand – A real winner! Let me preface this with – I got this stand almost a year ago. I am extremely pleased with it for my needs so far.I got this stand a year ago when we found a Mediterranean House Gecko on our horses’ hay delivery. Safe, sturdy, and versatile! Bought this to hang a mini double-dome lighting fixture above my bearded dragon tank. I love the fact that you can adjust the height, making it a cinch to provide the appropriate distance (~6″) between my beardie and his light so he can’t accidentally roast himself. It’s also great being able to open the sliding screen top without having to awkwardly work around the light fixture sitting on top of it. Worth the money ! I love this lamp stand . I purchased the tetra lamp for my turtles and this was recommend for it . I have a 10 gallon tank and the bottom of the stand it’s a really heavy platform that slides under your tank so you don’t have to worry about it falling over at all . It adjust to really small to a couple of feet which I love . I hand it a couple of inches above my aquarium so I have room to removed the lid if I need to .
