Vitamin or Mineral? I received a punctured-and-taped-over bag from Amazon; as it’s a 15-pound bag of bird seed, I didn’t feel it was worth the hassle to attempt to return. When I poured the contents of the bag into a storage container, I noticed something bright blue in the mix. WHAT “FANCY”BIRDS EAT! Yum! My birds have gone CRAZY over this! A plethora of dried fruits, nuts (like walnuts & peanuts) and seeds! Seriously, it looks good enough to eat myself! Extra price worth it We spent the extra on this bird seed to attract more chickadees and nut hatches. It worked! They seem to love it. We love having them!Updated 2/2018: The chickadees are still coming and they love it as do the squirrels! However, none of the critters like the millet. Itâs left in big piles after they finish everything else. This year we do not have any dark-eyed juncoes, and I guess the millet is for them.
