Not happy with the Amazon BLUE Life Protection Adult Large Breed food I’ve been feeding this food to my dog (purchased from a pet store) with no problem. I ordered the same food from Amazon because it was cheaper (Blue, Life Protection Formula Adult Large Breed). Not long after feeding it to my dog he developed serious diarrhea. I thought this was the same food as I had been purchasing for him from the pet store, so I wouldn’t expect any bowel changes, but the diarrhea got worse (I didn’t suspect the food at the time). MOLDED FOOD I’ve been getting this for my dog for three years now, and I’m horribly disgusted. I nearly vomited when I reached the bottom of the bag and saw clumps of molded food. Absolutely disgusting. I don’t know what happened, or what went wrong when they put this bag together. I’ve never had this problem with this brand of food before my discovery today.I just received a new bag today as well, and now i fear feeding this to my dog. Don’t think I can get this brand anymore.
Well worth the price The price is high but it is worth it to me. I have a 95 LB 2 year old White German Shepard who I got as a rescue almost a year ago. When I got him he was undernourished and in terrible condition. I started feeding him Blue Buffalo he got very sick at first because his system was not used to such high quality nutricious food.
